Looks like I'm gonna have to liven up this blog huh XD. Well for one, I hope that everyone's doing good. I assume that you all are adapting well to sec school.

BUT, I haven't been talking to some of you as much as I did before. Slow replies, no replies... It's pretty sad. Just because we said we wouldn't forget each other doesn't mean it won't happen. But maybe I'm just being paranoid XD. Oh well, we'll see.

So who's going back for CNY? You better XD. We're already have less chances to see each other as we speak. Just try to go at least. I guess it'll be fun XD. We should go do something that's NOT a boring movie. Been there done that, so post ideas on the cbox XD.

the year's ending , in nine days . do you remember , all of us slacking and saying that PSLE was an eon away , then all the games we played and fun we had after that . and then we split up, each to go our own way . yeah , sure, you'll have school / class - mates next year from the charitian family , but it'd never be the same again . [ rawr , i sound like mr tan ._. ] . to say it was a stressful year would be the biggest understatement of the year . but we made it through . we had our beloved friends standing by us , and there was never a dull moment in class with all our wackiness . we made mistakes , and we learnt from them . despite being a huge headache to our teachers . :D .
we spent six years together in pei hwa . and now we're going to leave for something unknown . like a dear friend of mine said [ okay , i'll give you the acknowledgement due dian xD ] ( in chinese -.- , no joke . ) : it's time we put a fullstop to our lives here in PHPPS .

it's on to the next phase of our lives . away from everything that was once familiar . it's gna be a new year , with new beginnings . and for some , it's gna suck like crap . but make the best of what you have , and forge ahead . don't let setbacks cripple you , and never crticise yourself . just get up , and try again . no matter how tough it is or how tired you are . i'll sound uber cliche for a moment ; but " when the going gets tough , the tough gets going " . just hold on , and remember that there'd always be your friends around to support and encourage you .

26.10.09 MONDAY -- Singapore Arts Museum (SAM) trip from 10am-1.25pm. students will be dismissed upon arrival in school? well, wear your school uniform and bring 2B pencils, a clip board, and paper. bring your cameras for mementos of our most-likely-last-class-excursion!

27.10.09 TUESDAY -- CLASS PARTEHH! hahaha. peeps, do remember to bring the food / drinks you are in charge of! class party has been cancelled / postponed due to erh, unforseen circumstances :X table tennis is from 7.30 - 8.30. for DSA pupils, there will be a briefing at 8.30. a church visit will replace the party (tho idk when :X). and later we have percussion from 11.30-12.00 (it's a damn mere half hour >:/)!

28.10.09 WEDNESDAY -- table tennis from 9-10! this is PE extended~! hahaha (: do remember that we still have to wear PE. [no slacking!] CLASS PARTTEHHHH! hahaha, this has been postponed / brought forward so many times x) hahaha. peeps, do remember to bring the food / drinks you are in charge of!
prefects: pass your 04.11.09 leadership camp form to shea (grace 6) or isabel chua (loyalty6)! bring along $10 if you are attending (the camp's from 8.30 (immediately after table tennis) to 5 pm [will miss a hall cultural / chinese arts programmeee, hahaha!])

29.10.09 & 30.10.09 THURSDAY & FRIDAY -- multi-sports camp! hahaha. DON'T BE DUMB AND WEAR SCHOOL UNIFORM OKAY. if you haven't, pay $5 to mr tan for transport! note: be in school by 7.10, LATEST. it's from 8am-1pm. bring along at least a litre of water, a small face towel, money (food and drinks will be sold), a pen and any personal medication. THIS IS COMPULSORY! a letter of excuse is needed if you're not attending. do not turn up if feeling ill!
we'll be having volley ball (this is like playing badminton with your hands eh xD save the different kind of erh, ball? o.o) / soccer (i'm assuming most of the guys chose this?) / handball (which is supposed to be like erh, soccer using your hands o.o). and we'll have netball (like basketball! ah-hem: the female version of bb [i think i'll freak if a guy signed up for this :O]) / ultimate frisbee (what's the difference btwn plain old frisbee and ultimate frisbee o.o) / tag rugby (the ball sticks to velcro straps, hahaha!)

HEYHEYHEY guys! I got an idea! You know the Night Safari's having this halloween thing on Friday and Saturday, so why don't we go as a class? Tell me which day is better, Friday or Saturday.

Anyway, tickets are $11 for admission only, and $18 for admission and the train of terror for children (aged 3-12). And for adults (if your parents want to go o.o), it's $22 for admission only, and $35 for admission and train of terror.

Tell me a suitable day ASAP, and whether you're coming!

ah, math was difficult today ): , though it was pretty much expected. but don't let it get to you okay! we still have 5 more papers to go, so work doubly hard to make up for it! so charitians, cheer up!
continue with the perseverance. there are only 5 more days left.

There hasn't been a post for quite a while, so I figured I'd just revive this blog a little.

I remember a while back when I said that psle was just 2 months away. Well, now it's 2 days away XD. Strangely, I feel exhilarated! The thought of freedom being a mere one week away just thrills me! No more "Hey Kang, do your work!" anymore!

But, I don't think everyone's as thrilled as I am. Most of you are probably worrying a hell lot. Well, here's some advice. No, don't study till you faint, and no, don't completely ignore revising. Do something somewhere in the middle. And on the actual day, go up to psle, and punch it in the face. I mean seriously, if you've put in effort then screw worrying. Why bother?

Yo guys, the stress is goin up, and so we gotta keep it up as well. It's like my dad says "Just 2 more months! Then you can play all you want." So that's my... incentive. I figure you guys should also get something to work for so studying doesn't seem meaningless. But long story short, jy guys (and girls).

Anyway, I've been having this idea of what to do after psle. Get 2 chalets! Why 2? Well, if anyone's gonna stay over we need 2 right? Otherwise boys and girls sleeping in the same chalet seems wrong (duh). And none of your parents would agree to that XD. Ehh... I haven't quite figured out how long to book it or any of the details, which is why I need you guys to do me a favour and give suggestions on which chalet to book, what to do, how long to book, who to supervise, blah blah blah blah blah.

I know it seems off track to plan so early, but am I seriously gonna waste time planning AFTER psle? Heck no! So if you can people, give me a hand here, to the guy whose planning sucks =P.

1) Firstly, science teacher Mr. Moon has allegedly issued out forms to parents for a talk, which supposedly 'tells them how to prepare their children for the upcoming PSLE Science Examinations'. Said Mr. Moon during a recent interview, "This is a fund-rasing event, and parents who attend the talk are encouraged to bring food and $$$ along. Of course, if you can't bring so much food, you should donate more $$$, and vice-versa" When asked for his opinions regarding the talk, Mr. Moon could only tell us one sentence: "We are very serious about this." Recent investigations have found out that Mr. Moon has currently 'collected' about 1000 fishballs for the event. "It's gonna be a fishball party." commented one student on hearing the news about the food. Fishball-fanatics are strongly encouraged to attend the talk.

2) Secondly, protests have been issued by a couple of students about this year's NDP theme song, "What Do You See". "It is a very serious insult against blind people!" yelled a protestor. "I mean, the song is all like, 'I see the moon and the stars; I see the whatever-it-is.' And then, for the chorus, the song goes, 'What do you see? What do you see?' 3) Last but not the least, we have the very-serious-topic of the Prelims coming up. They are 'very serious because if you get sick during PSLE and cannot sit for the examinations, your results for your Prelims will be your T-score for your official PSLE results' (quoted by a certain teacher). Therefore, all the BBC newscasters would like to wish every single one of the Primary-Sixes 'good luck!' for thei examinations!
